What You’ll Do

‍

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the next generation of the Table22 platform. This is a high-impact role on a small, nimble engineering team where you’ll own complex projects end-to-end, mentor other engineers, and directly influence the company’s technical direction.

• Lead development across our full-stack environment (Ruby on Rails + React), delivering new features and improving existing systems.
• Contribute to major product initiatives such as building new experiences for restaurant partners and evolving core platform systems.
• Drive engineering best practices around testing, quality, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Bring a product mindset and advocate for excellent user experience.
• Explore and integrate AI-driven tools that empower internal teams and restaurant partners.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across operations, marketing, and product.

Who We’re Looking For

‍

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer with strong full-stack expertise.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails and React or similar modern frameworks.
• Strong ownership of projects from concept to production.
• Comfort working in small, fast-moving teams.
• Experience modernizing systems, redesigning data models, or managing technical debt.
• Strong testing mindset and focus on maintainability.
• Curiosity about AI tools and how they improve product experiences.
• Collaborative approach with strong communication and low ego.
• Product-focused thinking that connects engineering decisions to user needs.
